Congruent Triangles and transformation Project
In this project I learned about 7 types of triangles, what they are each called, and what makes them different from each other. I also learned how to prove that two triangles are congruent. For example equal-angular triangles are triangles that have equal angles that sum up to 180 degrees. I also learned about different postulates/theorems like HL, ASA, SSS and more. The postulates and theorems show when triangles are congruent. The SSS is 3 sides of one triangle are congruent to 3 sides of another triangle then it means that they are congruent. when we did the design we had to use one of the following transformations: refection, rotation or translation. I used rotation.
This project was interesting. I was engaged in this project. This project was interesting because it made me want to know what design i could create only using 7 types of triangles. And how it would look using the rotation transformation.
The process of this project was good The assignments that we did related to the deliverables and the project. This process made it easier and and better to complete the project.
My attendance in this project was nearly perfect. I completed most of my assigments and deliverables. I completed most of my assignments and deliverables on time. I did my job during this project and showed good work ethic.

Radio Broadcast
This is a link to our script for our Radio Broadcast. My groups topic was about the human cost of war during World War 1, World War 2, and the cold war and we also had to talk about the political leaders. This is what we said.

Radioactive Comics and Games
For this project we had to make a game or a comic that included probability, radiation and decision making. My group and I decided to make a board game. To play our game you can choose to go through a long path with less radiation spots or the shorter path with more radiations spots. You role the die to go up how ever many spaces. If you land on the red square then you have to pick a card from the radiation questions and answer it. If you don't answer the question or if you get it wrong you can chose to stay their or take a chance card. The chance cards say stuff like " go up 2 spaces" , "go back to start" and "go back 3 spaces". Who ever gets to the end first wins. We included radiation in our game by putting facts around the path and making card with questions about radiation. We included decision making because you could ether chose to go through the long path with less radiation spots or the short path with more radiation spots. Also because if you get the question wrong or didn't answer it you decide if you want to stay their or if you want to pick a chance card. We included probability by rolling the die and picking chance cars because their was good and bad ones. This project helped me with collaboration because in order to get the game done my group members and I needed to collaborate. We had to collaborate with ideas and collaborate putting it together. This project helped me grow in collaboration.
Scratch Beginnings: Service Learning
For this project we read a book called Scratch Beginnings. It was about a guy who left his house to become homeless and prove that he could survive. It talks about his experience and everything that he went through. For our final product we had to volunteer somewhere and we also had to create a website for that organization. My group and I volunteered at the Sacramento food bank. I felt good volunteering because I was helping people that really needed it and they seemed very happy to be receiving the help.
